Kraken 2.0.53 allows the addition of history curves.

The current workflow for doing history matching is the following:

1. Open the history docking (under Tools > History)

2. If the curves are in a standard format supported by Kraken, they can be loaded in the Import command, which will be followed by a wizard which will ask which curves should be added. Otherwise, if it’s there table data related to the history, it can be copied and pasted into Kraken, through the New command.

When using the New command, the table must be filled as follows:

Date Curve Name Curve Name Other curves
Related Element Group Element Name Element Name
Unit Unit
Date Value Value
Date Value Value

The valid values for ‘Related Element Group’ are:

Completion, Well, Well Group, Grid and Study

Example:

Date Oil Production Total Water Production Total
Well Group Field Field
m3 m3
01/jan/2009 92.40 900
02/jan/2009 92.40 910
03/jan/2009 92.54 920
04/jan/2009 92.76 930
05/jan/2009 95.04 940
06/jan/2009 96.95 950
07/jan/2009 97.95 960
08/jan/2009 99.08 900
09/jan/2009 100.08 910
10/jan/2009 92.09 900
11/jan/2009 92.40 900
12/jan/2009 92.40 910
13/jan/2009 92.54 920
14/jan/2009 92.76 930
15/jan/2009 95.04 940
16/jan/2009 96.95 950

Attention: the table values are locale dependent. That means that the date and values format can be different from the given example.

3. Select the study you want and then in the history docking, check the history which should have curves added to the related study so that the comparison can be made. In the above example, when selecting the ‘Field’ element in the study, additional curves for the Oil Production Total and Water Production Total will appear.
